The Soroptimist House of Hope is a place where women coming out of addiction can transition into happy, healthy recovery. It has been so successful in its enterprise that a new property has recently been purchased in the Sky Valley area, which is currently under development and will extend a welcome to many more women in the near future.
Dot Reed, a founding member of the board, and several graduates of the program will share their stories, from the earliest dreams to the present reality.
The Soroptimist House of Hope began as a dream of a small group of women in Desert Hot Springs. They envisioned a place where women coming out of addiction could find safe and supportive surroundings, and they went to work to make it a reality. Dot Reed has been involved with House of Hope since its inception, and will share her passion for the project with us in November. We will also hear about the new property in the Sky Valley area, which will more than double the number of beds available! Several graduates of the program will share their stories as well.
